After
my parents died, I went to live with my aunt in a big family,
there are many children in my aunts home, most of them her
grandchildren. I had to do most of the jobs in the house, I
had to collect the water, do the dishwashing and to wash the
clothes. If I did not manage to get the clothes all clean, my
aunt beat me. The worst was that when there was little food, I
was sent away to do some jobs far away, and when I came back
the other children had eaten all the food, quite often I had
to go to bed very hungry. I say thank you for letting me come
here, now Emma is helping me.
