The boy comes from a poor village 25 km from Kidadu. When we found him he lived with his grandmother, she told his story since he is a little less than 2 years old.

The grandmother had a son and a daughter, the daughter died 5 years ago. Her son had a girlfriend, Kindambas mother, but they did not marry or move in together when she got pregnant. The young mother lost a lot of blood during the birth of her son and died because of that. The family of the young mother did not want to take responsibility of the child, so the father of the child and his mother took care of the baby. The father had a motorcycle, and made some money by driving people around. But one day, when the baby was 6 months old, he had an accident with the motorcycle, hit his head and died by the road.

Everything turned very difficult after that, the grandmother had no money for food or other necessary things. The baby has been sick a lot, but the grandmother can not afford taking him to hospital or buy medicines. So when Emma came and offered Kindamba a place in the orphanage she was very happy and says thank you to all the kind people who are willing to save her grandson.
