We have always lived with our grandmother, she loves us, she makes food and sometimes we move to the farm so our grandmother teach us to dig. But she don’t have money to send us to school, and she did not have any bed for us to sleep on, we slept on the carpet. After we came to Emma we have slept in a bed, that is very nice, says Grace.

The oldest remember that their parents were sick for a very long time and then die, the youngest were only two years old then. Their grandmother took them into the bush, very far from any school.

Now they are both very happy and enjoy life with the other children and going to school.
